In June of 2015, I took a tour of a house that I had found for sale online and put an offer in the next week. It was listed as a foreclosure, but was also a potential short sale. Because it was a potential short sale, I was prepared for it to take a few months. The purchase agreement stated that I would hear back on whether the offer was accepted by September 30, 2015 – or 90 days.
I was notified on September 30th that the bank had still not made their final decision. I agreed to extend the purchase agreement to November 7, 2015. The five months of waiting had worn my patience.
As November 7th approached, I was hesitant to get my hopes up. The morning of September 6, 2015, I contacted the realtor to see if he had heard any news. A few hours later I received the email, “It’s approved.”
So here I am.
Day 1: I’ve updated the site and am prepared to begin sharing.
