Dining Room

There isn’t much to say here. The flooring is being ripped out and the light fixture is being replaced. The wall that you see on the right will be removed. Maybe someday the patio door will lead to a 3-season-porch instead of a deck…

Patio Door and Window Makeover

I’m always looking around the house imagining what it would take to list it as a beachie rental – that just happens to be in Minnesota.

I started painting the trim throughout the entire house way back when I bought the home in December of 2015, but I didn’t paint the patio door or the living room window trim because they had actually been replaced and were new just a few years prior. Oh, and because I was SO tired of painting trim.

Fast forward to 2020…

So there I was in quarantine with a pot of coffee in me on a gloomy spring day, staring out of the window and daydreaming of having a beachie rental home. The next thing I knew, I was wiping down the patio door trim with liquid sandpaper and putting on a coat of primer.
